Cavalcada dels Reis Mags (Jan 5) – magical evening street processions across towns like Palma, with costumed figures throwing candy from ornate floats. Sant Antoni Festival (Jan 16–17) – island-wide, most famously in Sa Pobla and Artà: towering bonfires in the streets, traditional folk singing, and dimonis dancing through the smoke. Festes de Sant Sebastià (mid-to-late Jan) – Palma's biggest winter party: public barbecues, live rock concerts in the plazas, and the fire-run Correfoc.
Fira de la Flor d'Ametler (early Feb) – Son Servera's almond blossom fair: local food, folk dancing, and artisan crafts under blooming orchards. Sa Rua Carnival (late Feb) – colourful weekend parades through Palma and beyond, with masked dancers, satirical floats, and marching bands.

The weather
Mallorca experiences a mild, cool Mediterranean winter from November to March. Average daytime temperatures gradually drop from around 20°C in November to a low of 15°C in January and February, before warming back up to about 18°C in March.
November is generally the wettest month, but overall rainfall stays moderate – 5 to 7 rainy days a month, interspersed with crisp, sunny skies.
