5 Great Reasons to Visit Mallorca in Spring

Pollença, Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain

It seems like almost everyone wants to visit Mallorca during peak season – summer. There is a reason for it, its the best time of the year to work on your tan and delight in the warm ocean. But Mallorca, and in particular bedndesk coworking coliving, has so much more to offer than just that! Here are 5 great reasons to visit Mallorca in spring.

First: gentle climate

In spring, Mallorca’s climate is gentle. With an average of around 18°C/64°F and 10+ hours of sunshine a day it offers a wide variety of possibilities. It’s easy to dress for – just wear layers – and comfortable for many people.

Second: cheap flights

Spring = shoulder season = affordable flights! We’ve seen return flights for as low as £20 (UK), €39 (NL) and $410 (US). Bonus tip: visit https://www.google.com/flights to find the best deals.

Third: avoid the crowds

No worries about having to share the beach or that incredible viewpoint with the masses – visiting Mallorca in spring is the perfect way to avoid the crowds.

Fourth: hiking/cycling

I don’t know about you, but I definitely prefer hiking when the weather is mild yet sunny over hiking in the heat. Would you like to explore the beauty of the island by foot or by bike? Spring is definitely a better time to do so.

Fifth: sailing paradise

Whether you want to learn to sail, book a sailing trip or watch the exciting Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofía competition, the Balearic islands are the place to do it. And it’s only a 5m walk to Club Náutico El Arenal from bedndesk.

We can’t wait to see who will come and enjoy Mallorca with us this spring. Got questions on how to prep for your spring trip to Mallorca? Feel free to shoot us a message.
